  • Do you offer haircuts?
    Not at this time. We are only a bathing service.
  • Are you insured?
    Yes.
  • Do you offer bathing for cats?
    Not at this time.
  • Do you do anal gland expression?
    No - this is a procedure that should be performed by a veterinarian. If not done correctly, your dog could develop serious problems.
  • Why does mobile grooming cost more than a salon?
    A mobile operation is a luxury service at your doorstep One-on-one attention: not necessarily the case in a brick and mortar salon Bathing one dog at a time prevents your dog from being exposed to illness, fleas, and other dogs No driving to and from the salon with related safety, expense, and time issues Your dog does not have to be caged for hours waiting to be bathed A mobile dog spa is a better option for dogs that get stressed when traveling by car, are anxious or aggressive when near other pets or are elderly and less able to get around
  • Can I schedule just a toe nail trim?
    Yes. although it is included in our luxury bathing service, you can request a trim as a stand alone service.
  • Can I stay with my dog during bathing?
    Due to insurance requirements, we do not allow owners to be inside the van with us. However we are happy to give you a tour of our state-of-the-art Wag’n Tails mobile van.
  • Will I have to provide my own water or electricity?
    Absolutely not. Our van is completely self-contained and climate controlled. We bring our own fresh water and electricity right to your driveway.
  • Where do you park?
    We will park at the curb or in your driveway.
  • How should I prepare my dog for bathing?
    Please potty them prior to our arrival. If your dog takes any medication for arthritis, you may want to do this prior to your appointment as well.
  • What shampoos and conditioners do you use?
    We use a variety of the best quality shampoos and conditioners based on the specific needs of your dog.
  • Can you de-matt my dog?
    Yes, and we will make every attempt to brush out a moderately matted dog. However, In extreme cases, de-matting is an inhumane treatment as it is both painful and traumatic for your dog. Shaving your dog may be the best solution for matts at or near the skin, but we will never shave your dog without your consent. There is an additional charge for de-matting. Importantly, please be aware that underlying skin conditions may become apparent. We will not be held responsible for these conditions or reactions a dog may have.
  • How do I pay you?
    You can save your credit card on file, or pay by cash or check at the end of your appointment.
  • How do you deal with fleas and ticks?
    If fleas or ticks are found on your dog, this condition will be treated immediately at an additional charge.
  • What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
    If you must cancel or reschedule. we kindly request that you do so at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Cancellations within 24 hours are subject to a cancellation charge.
